Five Minutes to Famous Review: How It Helped Me Pitch with Confidence and Use Media to Attract More Clients

Too busy to read this blog...well I’ve got your back friend. I’ve recorded an audio clip, so you can listen to it easily.

“What if” is the killer of most dreams.

What if they say no?
What if they think my story stinks?
What if I never get published?
What if they hate my work?

I caught myself saying all of these things before joining
Five Minutes to Famous.

Even though I knew that being featured in major publications was an amazing way to build credibility, and attract new clients.

It was my inner critic that stopped me for years from getting the help I needed to boost my confidence to pitch stories to the media.

Can you relate?

Well you’re not alone. It’s not easy putting ourselves out there if we know there is a chance of being rejected.

Plus...

What do I say?
How do I write pitches?
Who do I send it to?
How long do I wait until I follow-up?

Heck, I don’t even know the first thing about being my own publicist. And I certainly don’t have the money to hire a PR team. Not many people do, unless you’re
Oprah.

Am I right?

Well, here’s the thing, if we aren’t hiring a PR team it’s up to us to do the leg work. So I spent hours searching for the best ways to pitch, how to avoid being rejected, and where to send my pitches.

That’s when I stumbled across
Susie Moore and her program Five Minutes to Famous. And I knew it was the exact thing I needed to finally gain the confidence to pitch so that I could skyrocket my reputation, and attract new clients.

So I decided to ditch the “what if” story and invest in her program. And I am so glad I did.

Since joining here are some of the cool things that have happened:

All of these opportunities have helped me establish credibility in my industry and attract new clients into my signature program the Messaging that Sells Accelerator.

I recently 10x my monthly revenue and experienced my biggest launch ever. I know without
Susie’s program I wouldn’t have had the confidence to pitch myself to the blogs and podcasts above.

That’s why I want to share four reasons I think the
Five Minutes to Famous program is an amazing opportunity if you’re looking to use media to establish credibility and attract new clients.

1. Up-to-Date Media Contact List

Y’all this is worth the entire investment. I’ve yet to see another course or program that offers a list of over 1400+ media contacts. Everything from Architecture to Digital Marketing to Fashion and Fitness.

No more sending your pitches to “info” emails. Because you and I both know if you aren’t sending your pitches to the editors there is a high chance they aren’t getting opened or they’re getting trashed.

Plus, there is nothing worse than wasting hours trying to find the right email addresses.

Let’s be real, who has time to waste?

As a busy entrepreneur time is money, honey. So, we have to do everything to optimize it if we want to achieve our desired results.

Susie’s
Power Pocket Contact List is a game changer. Not only will it save you oodles of time, but it helps you increase the chance of your pitch being accepted.

2. Supportive Famers Community

The Famers community is one of the most supportive communities. There is nothing worse than joining a private community where the host rarely shows up. If you’ve never experienced this yet, consider yourself lucky.

Her team is extremely active inside the community.
Susie is always doing lives, adding more resources, and encouraging Famers to share their wins, questions, and rejections.

While it feels great to get your pitches accepted, we can learn so much from the rejections. And this community not only celebrates the wins, it embraces hearing no.

Susie’s
honest and real attitude about pitching and the media has helped me realize it’s possible to get featured in major publications. But the only way to do that is to get over the fear of being rejected.

She has a “so what” kind of attitude when it comes to rejection. And I say this with the utmost respect. It’s this realness that helps us not wallow when we hear the words “no your story doesn’t fit in our publication,” or “sorry we just published something similar a few weeks ago.”

I believe it’s this community that’s helped me get back up quickly after I’ve had pitches rejected.

3. Proven Frameworks for Pitching

For most of us, we don’t have a PR team. In fact, we can’t afford one. So being our own publicist is the only option. That means we must learn the most effective ways to craft rejection-proof pitches.

Inside
Five Minutes to Famous you have access to proven frameworks for pitching that have helped Susie get featured on the Today show, Oprah, Business Insider, The Huffington Post, and Forbes. Just to name a few.

Also, it’s these proven frameworks that have helped me get my work featured on blogs, and podcasts. And I’m a firm believer that using a proven framework is what will set you apart from other people not following a proven process.

It also saved me loads of time trying to figure this out on my own. And if you haven’t already caught on...anything that will save me time and works is worth investing in.

Why reinvent the wheel if you don’t have to, right?

This is why I can’t rave enough about the proven pitch frameworks Susie shares with us. It makes pitching easy. Not to mention rejection-proof.

4. Boosting Your Confidence

This is probably the top reason I loved this program. Before joining
Five Minutes to Famous, I lacked confidence. I didn’t believe my stories, work, and knowledge would be of value to major publications.

Especially considering there were much bigger names already occupying the space. Experts like Amy Porterfield, Seth Godin, Marie Forleo, and Jenna Kutcher.

So why would major publications want to hear from me?

Here’s the thing, the media loves to hear new and different perspectives. So if you can bring that to a space that is occupied with similar voices it’s a good thing.

I never really saw it that way. I was too caught up in the bogus stories I was telling myself about why people wouldn’t want to feature my work.

If I am putting it bluntly, this program has helped me get over myself. And I hate to break it to you, but no one really cares about you as much as you think.

Ouch...I know!! But it’s the truth.

So why not try?

I mean what’s the worst that can happen if you pitch your story to the media?

Well, three things can happen. They either say yes, no or they don’t respond. And if they say no or don’t respond it’s typically the meanings we attach to those answers or non answers that cause us the most pain.

Things like…

I’m not good enough.
They hate my writing.
I’m not an expert.

And I get it. But it’s this program that’s helped me detach from the outcome and ditch the belief that I am not good enough.

So what do you say? Are you ready to start using media to skyrocket your reputation and attract more clients?

If so, I highly recommend
Five Minutes to Famous as it will help you craft powerful pitches that will get seen by the right people.
