Too busy to read this blog...well I’ve got your back friend. I’ve recorded an audio clip, so you can listen to it easily.

I'll never forget my first two launches.

They flopped big time...or so I thought. And after each one I was so drained I could hardly imagine getting back up and doing it all over again.

I mean why would anyone want to subject themselves to that kind of emotional roller coaster.

Well here is the thing...entrepreneurship is exactly that. And how well we ride the ups and downs is what matters.

Failure is one of our greatest lessons, yet we attach so many negative feelings and meanings to it that we often let it consume us.

And I don't want that for you. That is why I am sharing the three big lessons I’ve learned from launching my businesses so that you can avoid the mistakes I’ve made in the early stages of startup.

1. Get Back Up Quickly

I know my business would have experienced quicker growth had I got back up quicker. I waited nearly 8 months to re-launch because I was scared of failing. I was scared no one would show up to my live training or buy. But as I've always preached if you are looking for overnight success you are in trouble. You've got to be committed to the long game. So getting back up quickly allows you to maintain momentum and really learn from your mistakes

2. Detach Yourself from the Outcome

The meanings we make from our results and outcomes cause the greatest amount of pain. The stories we tell ourselves for why things happened are often what keep us stuck. So, being able to detach yourself from the outcome will be your greatest achievement.

3. Always Come from a Place of Service

We tend to make everything about ourselves. It's human nature. But when we come from a place of service having 1 person or 100 people join your challenge, community, or webinar doesn't change how we show up. Treat that 1 person like you'd treat the 100. So, if you host a webinar and only 1 person shows up, give that person the best experience ever.

The second part of this is watch what you start saying to yourself, "What if they don't see me as a professional or expert?" “How embarrassing is it that only one person showed up” "What if they make a negative comment?" "What if they don't get any value from what I am offering?" See how these thoughts make what you’re doing about yourself and not your audience. Start making it a habit of always questioning what you think. Your thoughts become your reality.
